There is a lot that can be said about the pros and cons to suspension seat post. From the wide view from price, style, and functionality. The one thing that most of us can agree on is the fact that after so many miles your bottom half takes a pounding. But with the great innovations in the cycling world we now have options. By options I mean everything from budget friendly to performance-enhancing. Cirrus Cycles offers a wide selection in the Kinekt 2.1. First off it comes in 2 materials carbon fiber and aluminum. They also offer a wide range of seat post dimensions so fitting it to your bike should not be a problem. Cirrus Cycles also had the bigger rider in mine with their rider range starting at 100lbs and ending at 320lbs. It is one of the most versatile suspension seat post on the market at this time. On the other hand the price tag is nothing to sneeze at. The Kinekt 2.1 comes in at $249.99 US. This is definitely a great investment towards your writing lifestyle. Especially if you are using a electric bike.

​   I have been using this suspension seat post on my 2018 RadRover for the last few months and I can honestly say it is a game changer. I weigh 220 pounds and the RadRover comes in around 65 pounds. When you do the math that’s a lot of weight bouncing around. most consumer E-bikes are hard tail so you do not have any support in the rear. No pun intended. The Kinekt 2.1 is very easy to set up and adjust on the fly if need be. One of the biggest things that sets it apart from the budget competition is the fact that this suspension seat post travels up in downed instead of a backwards motion. This played a huge part in the decision I made to go with this seat post. The way that I have my bike set up for bike packing determined that having a seat post that moved backwards was out of the question. A lot of cyclists have concerns about pedal bob. It is hard for me to comment about this fact. 95% of my time I ride with clip list petals in only right on the flat side in sketchy conditions. overall even with the pricey Price tag the Kinekt 2.1 is worth every dollar.
